# Using Schema

> Ask questions, use voice, choose results, and continue in your browser.

## Write a clear request

Say what you want, then add the details that matter: a website, date, place, budget, or preference.

| “Which is taller, the Eiffel Tower or the Space Needle?”                | Makes the comparison clear.                     |

Replace example dates with your own travel dates.

## Ask follow-up questions

Keep related requests in the same conversation. After asking about a place, you can ask “What time is sunset there?” without repeating its name.

Use **Command + N** or **/new** to start fresh.

## Speak your request

Click the microphone or press **Command + D**. Allow microphone and speech recognition access when macOS asks.

With **Send when I pause** enabled, a short pause sends your spoken request. Schema keeps listening for your next request. Press **Escape** to stop listening.

To change this preference, open **/settings**, select **General**, and adjust **Send when I pause**.

## Choose an option

When Schema shows a list of options, click a row, enter its number, or say which one you want, such as “the cheapest one” or “the morning flight.”

For bookings, Schema helps you reach the selected option's booking page. Select **Open page ↗** to continue in your browser and finish there.

## Stop a task

Press **Command + period** to stop the current task.

Type **/settings** to open preferences or **/accounts** to manage saved accounts.
