Join the waitlist. When you receive an invitation, use its download and setup instructions. If asked to sign in, use the email address you joined with.

Finish the welcome steps

Choose your shortcut

Open Schema and select Get started. Keep Option + Space, or click the shortcut and press the keys you prefer.

Choose voice and location preferences

Voice and location are optional. Enable voice if you want to speak your requests. Enable location if you want requests such as “What’s the weather?” to use your current area. You can also name a city in your request.

Connect accounts when you need them

Follow Sign in to Google if you want to connect Google, or continue and add accounts later. You can make your first public web request without adding an account.

Open Schema

Finish setup and select Open Schema.

Make your first request

  1. Open the bar with your shortcut.
  2. Type “What is the weather in Boston?”
  3. Press Return.
  4. Read the answer, then try “What about tomorrow?”
Press Command + N to start a new conversation when you change topics.

Change your preferences

Type /settings in the bar and press Return. In General, you can change your shortcut, voice preferences, and location. Continue with using Schema or accounts and sign-in.
